How soon can you respond?
We offer 24/7 emergency service. Water damage jobs (floods) take priority over other jobs. Our goal is to reach the job site within one hour of the initial phone call.

Will it be covered by my insurance?
Most homeowner insurance policies do cover water damage restoration jobs. Your best bet is to review your policy or call you agent to make sure you are covered.

How much will it cost?
If you are claimiing this with your insurance company, be advised that most policy deductibles are either $250, $500 or $1000. Most, but not all, water damage jobs exceed the deductible amount. Therefore, your out-of-pocket expense would be equal to your deductible.

If you choose not to file this with your insurance company, please let our technician know. We would be happy to to survey the damage and give you an estimate before we begin working.

What is involved in the process?
The process is intended to restore the property to a pre-loss condition and consits of the following:

  • Inspection with Thermal Imaging
  • Water extraction
  • Removal of Wet Pad
  • Disinfecting
  • Drying of Wet MAterials (placing Aair Movers throughout affected areas)
  • Re-Installation of carpet with New Pad
  • Moisture Inspection (this verifies that the affected area is in fact dry)
  • Carpet Cleaning / Final Clean-Up

Do....

  • Remove as much excess water as possible by mopping and blotting.
  • Wipe water from wood furniture after removal of lamps and tabletop items.
  • Remove and prop up wet upholstery cushions for even drying.
  • Place aluminum foil, china saucers, or unstained wood blocks between furniture legs and wet carpeting.
  • Turn on air conditioning for maximum drying in summer; open windows to speed drying in winter.
  • Open drawers and cabinet doors for complete drying (do not force).
  • Remove oil paintings and art objects to a safe place.
  • Open suitcases and luggage to dry in sunlight.
  • Punch small holes in sagging ceilings to relieve trapped water (with pans underneath).

Don't....

  • Use household vacuum to remove water.
  • Use T.V. or other appliances while standing on wet floors.
  • Leave books, magazines, or colored items on wet carpets or floors.

In the event of emergency flooding, quick action can minimize damage to carpets, walls and furnishings. Specialized drying equipment is used to speed the drying process, which can curtail the damaging effects of mold and bacteria.
